Houston is a car-oriented city. You can get to the hotel by:

  • Uber (about $35 from airport to hotel),

  • Bus/Transit (managed by RideMetro, about $4.50) (Map & Explorer).

  • Rent a car ($30-$50 per day),

  • Taxi, (About $52).

  • Use the SuperShuttle (About $24 one-way when using a "Shared-ride Van").

The hotel is in a central location with many restaurants within walking distance. You can find anything from Chick-fil-A to Kata Robata or The Cellar Bar within a few blocks.

The museum district is about 4 miles away, featuring 19 museums, 4 walkable zones, and a 55 acre zoo (Map).

NASA's Johnson Space center is about 30 miles away, and is set up where guests can see indoor and outdoor exhibits (Map).

There are also 4 sports stadiums, Toyota(Basketball), MinuteMaid(Baseball), NRG(Football), BBVA Compass(soccer).

The Mucky Duck, one of Houston's premier spots for Texas folk, blues, country, and Celtic music is rated one of the Top 20 Acoustic Venues in the US and is only a block and a half from the hotel.
